The software package converts the structure depictions into a format the computer can use to process the information contained in the depictions.

The software package ProMiner identifies the names of genes and proteins in scientific literature. This identification is based on automatically generated lexica. ProMiner’s lexicon on “Homo sapiens” currently comprises 18,000 entries and 270,000 synonyms.
